This notice explains how Gotham Townsend Limited ("we") collects and uses your information when you use this website and request an installer match.
Who we are

What we collect and why
When you submit an enquiry we collect your contact details and information about your property or premises and project, so we can review the enquiry and match you with a suitable installer.
Sharing with installers
We share your enquiry with a suitable air-conditioning contractor where coverage is available. Your contact details are only released to an installer after they accept the opportunity. We do not distribute your details indiscriminately.
Retention
If your enquiry does not reach an installer, we keep it for 12 months from your last contact with us, then delete or anonymise it. Air conditioning is seasonal, and that leaves room for someone who asks in one summer and decides in the next.
If your enquiry is introduced to an installer, we keep the record for 6 years from the introduction. We need to be able to show what was shared, with whom, and on what basis, and that is how long a claim about it could still be brought.
Marketing consent is kept until you withdraw it. Withdrawing it does not delete the enquiry itself; ask us at privacy@airva.co.uk if you want both.
Your rights and marketing
You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your data by contacting privacy@airva.co.uk. Any marketing is optional and separate from your enquiry, and you can withdraw consent at any time.
The website assistant (Ask Airva)
This site offers an automated assistant. It is software, not a person, and the panel says so before you type anything. It answers from our own published guidance and our recommendation engine; it does not search the wider web.
What you type is sent to xAI (x.ai), which runs the language model that composes the reply. We do not keep a copy of the conversation: it exists in your browser tab and in the request, and ends when you close the tab.
The assistant never asks for your name, email address, phone number or postcode. If you decide to make an enquiry it opens our ordinary enquiry form, and what you type there is handled exactly as any other enquiry, described above. Please do not type anything into the assistant that you would not want sent to a third-party service.
Because xAI processes your message outside the UK, that transfer relies on the safeguards required by UK data-protection law. Our lawful basis for running the assistant is our legitimate interest in answering questions about our service.
