About Airva
Airva publishes guidance on air conditioning for UK homes and businesses, and introduces people who want a system installed to an installer who can survey the property and quote for it. We are not an installer, and we do not fit air conditioning ourselves.

Where we have got to
We would rather you heard this from us than worked it out. Airva is early: the company was incorporated in August 2026, and we are still building the installer network. We do not claim confirmed coverage in any particular town, and we do not grade one area above another, because we are not yet in a position where that would be true.
What that means in practice is on every area page and it is the same everywhere: we review each enquiry individually and introduce you to one vetted installer where we can, or tell you plainly that we cannot yet. Your contact details stay private until an installer accepts the job. If you would rather wait until we can promise more, that is a reasonable thing to do.
How we make money
Installers pay us when they accept an enquiry we send them. You pay us nothing, and there is no obligation to proceed with anyone we introduce.
We publish no affiliate links and earn no commission on equipment, which is set out on our affiliate disclosure. Our guidance is written independently of who pays us, and no manufacturer or installer has any say over what it says.
How the guidance is written
Regulatory, planning and pricing claims are checked against the official source cited at the foot of each page — GOV.UK, Ofgem, the Planning Portal, MCS, HSE and CIBSE among them. Where a figure is a market observation rather than a published fact, we say so rather than borrowing authority from somebody else's website. Where we cannot verify something, we leave it out.

What we are not
- We are not an installer. We do not carry out surveys, fit equipment or handle refrigerant.
- We are not a comparison site that sells your details to a list of firms. One enquiry goes to one installer.
- We do not give personal, legal, financial or tax advice. Our guidance is general information for the UK market.
